The owners of the agricultural holding will show us how their crops are grown with a biodynamic method, and most importantly their irrigation system – the fields are irrigated through a spring that lets the water flow through numerous small canals. It is an ancient method that is still very functional and interesting to witness. This guarantees the total respect of the local fauna: besides the common pollinators, with a bit of luck we could be able to spot other kinds of animals that live in the Madonie Natural Park, such as hawks, fawns or blue-headed European green lizards.

Then, under the cool shade of the orange trees, we will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with the freshest vegetables produced here, along with cold cuts and cheese produced responsibly in the farms of the area. You will also have the opportunity to purchase the products that you most liked, or the ones that you wish to taste upon your return home!
