In this travel we will discover the hidden part of Sicily: the charming territory of Enna. Thanks to its position, it can be easily reached from Palermo’s airport as well as Catania’s. We will pick you up at the airport and we will take you to your accommodation.

Day 1: Arrival

We will be waiting for you at the airport and we will take you to the hotel, driving across the evocative landscape of Enna’s territory. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Piazza Armerina UNESCO World Heritage Site – Caltagirone

Today, after your breakfast, we will explore the interior of the town and we will head towards Piazza Armerina, where we will visit the Villa Romana del Casale (Roman Villa). Marvel at the well-preserved mosaics of this beautiful villa: we will discover depictions of hunting scenes, girls wearing swimsuits and other representations that portray the lifestyle and the habits of the ancient Romans.

Afterwards, we will drive to Caltagirone, a town well known for its ceramic manufacture.

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Agrigento UNESCO World Heritage Site – Scala dei Turchi

After your breakfast we will go to Agrigento, where the next UNESCO World Heritage Site will be waiting for us – the Valle dei Templi (Temple Valley). These temples were built during the cultural peak of Magna Grecia, of which Sicily was a part of. Here we will enjoy a charming aperitivo with a splendid view on the temples.

Then we will visit a natural wonder: the Scala dei Turchi (Stairs of the Turks), a snow-white cliff that stretches out toward the Mediterranean Sea. We will spend a relaxing moment in this white and blue paradise that will gift us with precious memories.

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Returning home

Today we will have to leave this fantastic corner of the world. After your breakfast we will reach the airport, from where you will go home relaxed. If your flight is not too early, it is possible to visit Palermo or Catania before saying goodbye: Arrivederci Sicilia!
